Can I buy Capell Membership today?
Not through public self-serve checkout. The Membership terms are published; contact us about access for a real project before making any commercial commitment.
How does agency and multi-site licensing work?
Each membership covers 1 production domain for one customer organisation. For an agency, five client sites need five memberships.
Who counts as a named user?
A named user is one identifiable employee, contractor, or agency collaborator authorised by the purchasing organisation to use protected downloads, updates, support, or account tools. Accounts cannot be shared. A place can be reassigned when someone leaves or changes role, but not rotated to avoid the 5-user limit.
Are major-version updates included?
Yes. Protected updates available during an active term include eligible major-version releases, including a 1.x to 2.x upgrade, subject to that release's published compatibility and migration requirements.
How is Publishing Studio licensed?
Publishing Studio is priced at £59 GBP before applicable tax for 12 months as a standalone extension and is also included in Capell Membership. Lemon Squeezy calculates applicable taxes at checkout and provides the tax receipt. Paid self-serve checkout is currently closed; contact us about access for a real project.
Do installed packages stop after expiry?
No. Installed packages keep running; protected downloads, updates and support stop after the grace period. Read the stated limits and expiry evidence.
Is renewal automatic?
No. Renewal is manual. Renew before expiry for 20% off at £159.20/year; the renewal extends the existing expiry date, so unused time carries forward.
Who handles VAT and tax?
Capell is not VAT registered. When checkout opens, Lemon Squeezy will calculate and collect applicable taxes and provide the tax receipt.
What support is available?
Active paid terms include reasonable-use email support. Paid priority support is not offered at launch while its tax treatment is reviewed. Read the support terms.
Can I start free?
Yes. Install Capell Foundation first and add protected packages only when the project needs them.
