Copyright
Copyright and intellectual-property notices for Capell and the Capell marketplace.
Capell materials
Unless another licence is stated, Capell owns or controls the rights in the Capell website, brand materials, copy, screenshots, interface design, documentation, marketplace metadata we create, and first-party package materials.
You may not copy, sell, misrepresent, remove attribution from, or use Capell brand assets in a way that suggests endorsement unless we have agreed it in writing.
Extension author materials
Extension authors keep ownership of the rights they already hold in their packages, source code, documentation, screenshots, logos, and listing copy. By submitting material to Capell, authors grant Capell a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, review, scan, reproduce, display, adapt for formatting, distribute where needed, and promote the submitted material for marketplace and security purposes.
Authors must have the rights needed for everything they submit, including source code, dependencies, images, icons, trademarks, documentation, datasets, examples, and third-party services. If a package includes open-source code, the author must comply with the relevant licence and preserve required notices.
Third-party rights
Do not submit packages, listings, screenshots, names, logos, or documentation that infringe copyright, trademarks, database rights, privacy rights, contractual restrictions, or open-source licence terms.
Capell may remove or restrict access to material if we believe it may infringe rights or create legal risk. Repeat or serious infringement may lead to account suspension.
Takedown requests
Send copyright or rights complaints to [email protected]. Include your name, contact details, the material complained about, the rights you own or represent, the reason you believe the use is unlawful, and any supporting evidence.
We may forward the complaint to the relevant author so they can respond, unless there is a good reason not to. We may remove or disable access while we investigate.
