Check a site is ready for production, then add what the launch needs

A launch needs a way to see whether the site is healthy and a record of who signs in. Diagnostics and Login Audit cover those. Choose the access, publishing, authoring, and import capabilities the launch needs. Migration Assistant is required with Publishing Studio, even when no content is being imported.

  • Diagnostics

    Health reports for packages, content, permissions, and queues, with guarded commands whose results are recorded.

  • Login Audit

    Records sign-ins with time, IP address, and device, with suspicious-login alerts and configurable retention. IP capture can be switched off.

Access: private pages and downloads

  • Access Gate

    Put pages, downloads, or member areas behind login, email approval, guest links, or schedules. Staff can approve, expire, or revoke access.

Publishing: review before pages go live

Optional

Publishing Studio depends on Migration Assistant, which is in the migration group below.

  • Publishing Studio

    Isolated workspaces, assigned reviewers, approval, scheduled or atomic publishing, and release recovery for Capell Pages.

Authoring: previews and in-page editing

    Private, expiring previews of unsaved page and Layout Builder changes in the live theme.

  • Frontend Authoring

    Edit supported page regions from the page itself, applying changes directly or through the approval workflow.

Publishing dependency and content imports

Migration Assistant is required with Publishing Studio, even without an import. WordPress Importer can wait until a WordPress import is needed.

  • Migration Assistant

    Stage, validate, and execute an import, with a rollback report for every run.

  • WordPress Importer

    Preview WordPress export posts and pages before importing them. It depends on Migration Assistant.

Not in this suite

Separate dependencies and integrations

These listings are not included in this suite. Needed dependencies must be installed with the members that require them; optional integrations can wait until the site needs them. Check each listing for its price and terms.

  • Navigation Needed

    Publishing Studio depends on Navigation, which this suite does not include. It is a separate free listing.

  • HTML Cache Needed

    Diagnostics, Publishing Studio, and Frontend Authoring all depend on HTML Cache. It is a separate free listing.

First rollout

A sensible order for the first site

Work down the list and stop when the job is done. Later members can wait.

  1. Install Diagnostics and read its health reports before launch day. Fix what they flag.
  2. Add Login Audit, and set its retention period and IP capture to match the client's data-protection policy.
  3. Add Access Gate if any pages or downloads must stay private.
  4. Migration Assistant is required with Publishing Studio when editors need review before publishing. Add the authoring members for preview or in-page editing. WordPress Importer is only needed when importing WordPress content.
Buying separately

Take a member on its own when

You can skip the suite. Each member is listed separately.

  • The launch only needs health checks and sign-in records. Diagnostics and Login Audit are listed on their own.
  • Choose the capabilities the launch needs, including Migration Assistant whenever you adopt Publishing Studio. Total the members you would install and compare that with the suite price.

Maintainable enough to keep for years — what to verify

Run health checks before launch and after deliberately breaking a queue worker. The failure should surface through diagnostics and audit evidence before it becomes silent operational decay.

Read more

The demonstration should show: Config drift, stuck jobs and migration state land on one screen, so when something goes wrong the site’s developer has a starting point instead of a blank stare. That shortens every incident to a look rather than a hunt.

Scope check: It assumes a developer is around to act on what shows up, which site owners plan for. External uptime monitoring still adds a useful outside-in view this doesn't replace.
