You are responsible for the whole submission
Authors are responsible for every package, listing, screenshot, repository, manifest, release, dependency, support statement, and claim they submit to Capell.
Keep your author account details current and answer security, rights, privacy, or support questions within a reasonable time. If we cannot reach you, we may restrict or remove the relevant package.
You must have the necessary rights
You confirm that you own or have permission to submit and distribute each package and all related materials. You must follow applicable open-source licences, third-party API terms, trademark rules, dependency licences, and commercial licence terms.
Submitting material gives Capell the worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence described on the Copyright page. It lets us host, review, scan, reproduce, display, format, distribute where needed, and promote that material for marketplace and security purposes.
Explain security and data access before installation
Packages must request only the access they need, disclose meaningful capabilities, avoid hidden tracking, protect secrets, handle personal data lawfully, and avoid weakening a site owner's security or privacy.
Your listing and documentation must clearly say if the package processes personal data, connects to a third-party service, phones home, uses analytics, stores cookies, sends email, or transfers data outside the site owner's stack.
Set an honest support and maintenance position
You must not imply that Capell provides support for your package unless we have agreed that in writing. State whether the package is free, paid, maintained, experimental, deprecated, first-party, community, or agency-supported.
You must publish security fixes promptly when a vulnerability could affect installed websites. Capell may publish or relay advisories where site owners need protection.
Indemnity
To the fullest extent allowed by law, you agree to protect Capell from claims, losses, costs, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your package, listing, breach of these terms, infringement of rights, unlawful processing of data, or failure to support or secure the package.
Review, restriction, and removal
Capell may review, reject, edit metadata, suspend, delist, remove, or block a package if we believe it is unsafe, misleading, unlawful, unsupported, infringing, incompatible, harmful to Capell sites, or likely to create liability for Capell or users.
