Keep a client's images organised, described, and reusable
Media Library is the core: folders, search, alt text, and a health report. Media AI adds provider-backed image corrections on top of it. Tags and Form Builder are in the suite too, but their own listings describe tagging pages and collecting submissions, not media.

Folders, search, alt text, rights metadata, and a media health report that lists missing alt text and unused assets.
Add when the site needs them
OptionalMedia AI needs an image provider. Tags and Form Builder do not depend on the media packages.
- Media AI
A provider-backed action for correcting, cleaning up, and upscaling images, with alt text and captions written per language. The original file is kept. You must bind an image provider, because none is supplied.
- Tags
Consistent labels for pages and other supported content, with usage review and duplicate merging.
- Form Builder
Forms with conditional and multi-step fields and an inbox of encrypted submissions. File uploads go to a private upload disk you configure, not to the Media Library.
Separate dependencies and integrations
These listings are not included in this suite. Needed dependencies must be installed with the members that require them; optional integrations can wait until the site needs them. Check each listing for its price and terms.
- Navigation Needed
Tags depends on Navigation. It is a separate free listing.
A sensible order for the first site
Work down the list and stop when the job is done. Later members can wait.
- Install Media Library. If the site uses Spatie Media Library, use its migration to move existing media across.
- Work through the media health report: add missing alt text and review unused assets.
- Add Media AI only once you have an image provider to bind. Review each correction beside the original before approving it.
- Add Tags or Form Builder only if the site needs them for pages and enquiries.
Take a member on its own when
You can skip the suite. Each member is listed separately.
- You only need the library. Media Library is a free-tier package listed on its own.
- You have no image provider. Media AI's action stays hidden until one is configured.
- You want forms or tags rather than media. Take them individually.

- No image provider is supplied. Files uploaded through Form Builder are stored on their own private disk, outside the Media Library.

Images stayed orderly as the site grew — what to verify
Add captions to used images, upload a duplicate and leave one file unattached. The library should make the duplicate and genuinely unused asset visible without disturbing referenced media.

Evidence to request: Usage tracking identifies referenced files and isolates genuinely unused uploads as the library grows. Remove an asset from every page, run the sweep and verify that only the newly orphaned file becomes a cleanup candidate.
Alternative fit: For a handful of pictures this is more than site owners would need. Simple uploads are fine on a small static site that isn't accumulating media.
