Blog Theme and the Blog package are different listings. The package adds article publishing, archives, and feeds; the theme sets how articles look.
A sensible order for the first site
Work down the list and stop when the job is done. Later members can wait.
- Decide how the client's content is published: a newsroom, long-form essays, or a mixed magazine.
- Open that theme's demo and check it with real stories.
- Install that theme only. If the site also needs article publishing, add the Blog package separately.
Take a member on its own when
You can skip the suite. Each member is listed separately.
- You already know the theme. Take it on its own.
- The content is figures and daily updates rather than stories. Broadsheet is the closer fit and is listed separately.
